  • 10/4/2007 Some tips for quality sound

    3 Review Stars By Maureen

The player sounds shrill when out of water, but the sound quality is improved under water.

The earbuds slip out of the ear continuously. I bought some silicone ear nubs from BestBuy that help to keep them in.

I use Sony water resistant earphones that wrap over the ear when doing water aerobic exercises with my head above water. These have a much better quality sound. Sony also sells an over the head water resistant headphone that is sold at Target & BestBuy.

The belt clip comes off a lot when trying to connect the player to my swimsuit.

Overall, this mp3 player is much better than the old waterproof transister radio set that plugs into a radio &/or cd player.

When not around water, you can plug any type of headset you want for quality sound.

I like the mp3 player a lot, but I have a hard time keeping it in my ears while I'm swimming.  Also, when I'm not swimming the sounds is a little shrill. Wright

  • 6/27/2007 Oregon Scientific 512MB Waterproof mp3 Player w/ F

4 Review Stars By Violet Toney

I bought this to work out with in the water about  one month a go. I work out for about two hours a day and I have not had any problems with the mp3 itself. The only thing that I one they that i didn't like because they kept coming out was the rubber ear nubs that go in your ears,so I changed them to the rubber ear pieces that came with my hands free cell phone set. You can find them at any verizon store and they work for all sizes.
I would tell people to buy this and I have.
