This is my 3rd Xcel Drylock that I’ve owned over the course of many years. I’d have to say that the quality seems to be pretty poor. I’ve always been a fan of their wetsuits since I have a big chest. I’ve used this suit about 10 times in the course of a month and the hand cuffs are starting to split and the stitching is starting to come undone. I’m also noticing that the outer layer is coming apart from the inner layer in the seat of the suit. I have been mindful when taking the suit off ana putting it on and I am careful not to yank and pull. I live in New England and the water temp gets down to the mid 30’s. As far as keeping me warm this suit definitely keeps me warm. I’m able to surf over three hours and still be warm. I’m very happy about that. I’m a little bummed that the construction quality isn’t that great. Not sure if it’s this particular suit or the overall quality from Xcel. I have a feeling this suit isn’t going to last as long as the previous Xcel Drylock suits I’ve bought in the past have.
