This simple device works! I didn’t even know I had it on. I felt no drag except on a very windy open water swim in the ocean. Stopping mid-swim is great because you can grab it and float. My wife was able to easily see me. Less worried about jet skis, kit surfers, SUPs and boats. If you like to open water swim I highly recommend.

Pros: The item is exactly as described and the pocket is super useful for putting hydration or electrolytes. The material feels durable and I felt confident trusting this with my life. It's bright colored and you can tie things to the rope incase it falls out of the pocket (GoPro, tracker, etc.). Nothing fell out of the pocket when I went for an open water swim in calm waters.
Cons: The straw/bladder reservoir does not come with the buoy even though it's shown in the photo. Also, the string is not as long as I would have hoped so you may need to buy some floating-rope separately if you need it. Ideally, I wanted a buoy that you can store things inside of (roll up folding mechanism) as well as the mesh pocket for easy access but couldn't find both of those features.
