Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Fits great. Purchased for higher back design and lower leg cut (I'm 82 and prefer a little more coverage.) Lower leg cut can be adjusted by scrunching up the leg to where you want it. Fits great. Got a lot of compliments on the suit at my water aerobics class.

I haven't used it in the pool yet but it fits ok. I was looking for a plus-size suit that had good support for the breasts and not have large leg openings. This one seems to be OK.
