Zone3 Neoprene Buoyancy Shorts 3/2mm

The Zone3 shorts are doing exactly what I wanted. They give me just enough buoyancy to get me to focus on and enhance my roll. They also allow me to concentrate on my pull. They fit great, even if a bit snug and are much better than a previous neoprene suit that added quite a bit of drag. These help nicely streamline my swim. They will be perfect for triathlons.

I use this suit for my regular swim workouts, as it gives me a bit of extra buoyancy. It allows me to improve my stroke as I prepare for open water swims or other competition. I like it for all the reasons lists, i.e. quality, performance\durability, fit, support and design (though I can only pick one on the list). The suit lasts for at least one year with three workouts per week.

Being an avid cyclist for decades, I chose X large. My 33 inch waist does not match my larger thighs and rear. When I received my shorts I immediately tried them on dry. Fit felt perfect. Unfortunately, due to our ongoing pandemic, my pool is closed. So I look forward to a day when I can give them a real trial. The shorts do appear very good design and workmanship.

Shaved many seconds off my best race times for all strokes and distances from 50 meters to 400 meters. Jammers waist tie must be very tight and double knotted, otherwise jammers slip down and water passes thru suit and not as fast.

Had a hard time finding the right fit till I tried ZONE3 their size charts are more accurate and if you are like me that doesn't want things too tight pick the first number in the size range that fits you most closely
