      Silicone retains its shape and “stretch” better than Latex over time. Latex tends to tear more readily after 25 or so outings

      Easy to put on

      I love the TYR silicone swim caps because they have enough give to make them really to put on. I have very curly, dry hair, so I apply coconut oil to protect it from the chlorine. I'm fairly new to swimming and tried a Speedo silicone cap first but it was too hard to stretch enough and I ended up tearing it. This is my second TRY cap - the first one still works perfectly and this is my back-up!
