Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I've tried on but not used in water yet, but the fit is great. It's a bit of an unusual design which I like. The order came quickly, the suit was in a little plastic bag which could be re-used for containing a wet suit. I'm very satisfied.
