I needed a cop that was not tight to use my reading with once I put the cap away from ears and then easily put cap over my ears. This works. Plus, being a "long hair" cap, there is the extra room I needed even though I do NOT have long hair anymore. Wears well, but I do use a tight cap then doing laps.
