Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Good fit, quality. I got one size smaller (32 Vs 34) as I swim on a team and need it to hug but it stretches to conform well and I have medium/large trunk/waist and bike. Buy your true size if your are planning to wear or lounge for longer times out of the water.
