Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I swim a few days a week and am accustomed to my swimsuit fabrics losing their elasticity and thinning out. This is the first time I've ordered a "hydrolast" swimsuit and it's too soon for me to know how it will work out! I notice that the fabric is thicker. The fit for a medium is really snug/tight. I think if you are curvy, you may want to size up.
