Haven't had this in the water yet but I think it will serve better as a pull buoy than a kick board. Advantages are compactness, multi-functional and less junk in your gear bag. As always, great Sporti quality and value.

Worked great as both a kickboard and a leg buoy! I ended up flipping it upside to take advantage of the ergonomic design to hold it for kickboard use. Very functional. 10/10 recommend!

Works fine as a pull buoy, but not a real substitute for a kick board. Will work in a pinch to kick with, but sinks much faster than a full size kick board (and I'm not very strong or heavy). So I think calling this a kickboard is a stretch - works about as well as pushing a standard pull buoy- just a little more steamlined shape. On the plus side, a bit longer than a standard pull buoy and perhaps a little more buoyant so it may appeal to you if a standard pull buoy doesn't hold up to your body weight or slips out.
