Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

There is a centre seam, broken only by a tiny triangle in the middle, not big enough to prevent the garment from trying to get inside one's body. It's not comfortable.

I love the tie dye and colors so I kept them, but they do run small. On the size chart I am between L/XL. I ordered the XL and when I pulled them out of the package I thought there was no way they'd fit...they do but with no room to spare. And because they are tight the legs tend to roll up, so I can see where the other reviewer had an issue with the crotch.
