The hat is a replacement for one I already had that got chew up by a dog. The hat is exactly what I had and I am very satisfied with it.

This hat exceeded my expectations of shoulder coverage on a hot, sunny day! The size of the brim makes the hat a bit hard to navigate at times, but I enjoy wearing it. I've only had it for a little over a week and have only worn it twice, so I do not know if the hat will last, but for the price (~$30 at time of purchase) I'd be happy if this hat lasted me a year or two before replacement.

This hat is almost like a sombrero! Mine arrived a little curled up (with the weaving broken in one place) due to the packaging, but it also seems too broad brimmed for my needs. It looks like it would be great for sunny gardening though if no one is around to see you...
