We just built a pool and we have a spa that’s lowered on edge of pool. There is a corner that is a bit hidden, so I put a shammy cloth on edge and use this brick to hold it in place. Works great and keeps the kids safe from spa corner. Plus, I could use it to tread water like back in my life guarding days if I want to as well!!

I place the brick inside a plastic bag and sit it on top of the terrine filled with food mixture and place in refrigerator for a couple of days. The weight of the brick compresses the food mixture getting the air bubbles out. Remove brick and cover and bake terrine. Makes a nice loaf.

I haven’t measured its weight but it feels about right. The rubber coating is pretty soft and is easily scratched on the pool concrete so we’ll see how long it lasts. Be warned that you may be charged shipping for it even if you meet free shipping requirements because it’s heavy. Other than that it behaves exactly as expected. It’s a brick, it doesn’t have much to do.
