Having swam in DeSoto 2 piece wetsuits since forever, this was going to be a big change, but it worked out great. I called to make sure at 6' and 157 lbs that a small/tall was the right choice, and it is. A medium would have been swimming on me, while I had my doubts, not owning any small clothing, I trusted the tech on the phone and its perfect. Yes you need to be careful pulling it on, but once on it's like a second skin and you don't give it another thought. You can really feel the water on your arms and there's not too much floatiness in the legs which the DeSoto's have. A good call, even if it's only the 2021 model, which for this veteran in the sport is not an issue. As for dealing with the colder waters, I'd say 58+ would be okay, while below that I'm sure I'd feel colder than I like, but that's how it goes.
