This has been the best tech suit my daughter has worn. She said it’s extremely comfortable in and out of the water, helps her to feel more on top of the water and doesn’t impede flip turns so they are snappy. Extremely water repellent. She wore it for an entire championship meet and it has kept its shape, compression and integrity of the suit. She has some great swims in this suit. She has used the entire arena carbon series open and closed back, she’s also used both the speedo intent and valor and she says this is her new overall racing suit for distance and sprints. The Primo doesn’t get itchy like her carbon core or carbon glide while wearing it. It’s not restrictive with breathing like her Speedos. It’s a great combination of everything. She uses a 24 carbon glide, but when measuring she fits an arena primo size 26. She did say getting the suit on in 10 minutes is laughable, because it took 30 the first time and more like 15 thereafter. Our only complaint is that it’s hard to find a tech suit made for short girls that have hips. That is an issue across all brands though.

Well worth the money, now if only the suit came in a “petite” option, that would be terrific. The top part is still a bit long, but overall a great improvement over the Venzo.
It takes longer than “a few minutes” to get on, but it’s a great improvement over older suits.
It really helps when seconds count in a race.

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to get a 24 for my 14 yr old (5'3", 135lbs, swimmer build-lots muscles, wide shoulder (M t-shirt, training suite 26-arena, xs waist size) instead of her usual 22. She tried it on and said it felt loose and it was very easy to put on. we returned it. Her usual Arena 22 tech suit would normally takes her a good 20 mins with some friends help to put it on, and 24 suit fits well initially then became loose after few use.

5 stars for performance, 1 star for durability. In terms of performance, my swimmer places this suit above all others. Excellent fit, compression, buoyancy, and a gorgeous aesthetic. The fabric ripped (small hole barely there) on the left side the first time out and after the 2nd wear, the hole was obvious and the blue piping came un-affixed near the right shoulder. We typically get 4 to 5 prelims / finals meets out of an Arena tech suit. This one died after 2. R.I.P.

Purchased this suit directly from Arena after reading all the press by Arena. Have worn the entireArena Carbon series (Core, Glide and Air) for distance and sprints. This suit is thick like a Mizuno. BUT when you get in the water the compression increases dramatically. I was unable to breathe, flip, or rotate to execute proper swim mechanics in this suit. ARENA will not issue me a credit for this suit. Wasted $650. Do not buy this suit.
