Th Arena Primo has been the best tech suit my daughter has worn. She said it’s extremely comfortable in and out of the water, helps her to feel more on top of the water and doesn’t impede flip turns so they are snappy. Extremely water repellent. She wore it for an entire championship meet and it has kept its shape, compression and integrity of the suit. She has some great swims in this suit. She has used the entire arena carbon series open and closed back, she’s also used both the speedo intent and valor and she says this is her new overall racing suit for distance and sprints. The Primo doesn’t get itchy like her carbon core or carbon glide while wearing it. It’s not restrictive with breathing like her Speedos. It’s a great combination of everything. She uses a 24 carbon glide, but when measuring she fits an arena primo size 26. She did say getting the suit on in 10 minutes is laughable, because it took 30 the first time and more like 15 thereafter. Our only complaint is that it’s hard to find a tech suit made for short girls that have hips. That is an issue across all brands though.

I bought the Primo SL closed back and recently wore it at the State Sr. Olympics competition, yes I am a 70+ swimmer. This was the first time wearing the suit. I found it pretty comfortable in and out of the water. I had full range of motion when I swam Back, Free and Breaststroke. Even had a couple of Personal bests in free and breaststroke.
My previous suit was an Arena ST in a size 30, I bought the Primo in the same size. The first time I put it on it took over 30 minutes. Over the past couple of months I practiced putting the suit on using Slick Skin spray. It definitely helps getting the suit over the hips and bum. I can now get the suit on in under 10 minutes. Hurrah!
My only complaint is the shoulder straps do press in a bit more than I like thus the 4 stars. Even though the straps are a bit uncomfortable I love the suit. The compression is great, not too much for an older swimmer like myself, even when the suit was wet.

I bought this suit for my daughter who wanted the glide, but struggled to find her size, as they were sold out.
She is an Im’r
It took my daughter about 20 minutes to put on. (She wears a 28 practice suit and we have always purchased a 24 in Arena Techsuit) it looked great very compressive but the tape around the her lower rib cage was too constrictive. She lacked movement and breathing. I am afraid to get a 26 even though they say
It won’t change fit after it’s been in the water.
We were able to find a Glide finally so we returned the Primo.
