About This brand

J.W Foster developed the first known running shoe with spikes back in 1890, enabling athletes to run faster than ever before. Over 60 years later, his grandsons, Joe and Jeff Foster, took over J.W. Foster and Sons in 1954 and gave it a new name: Reebok.

While Reebok quietly made shoes for 30 years, it wasn’t until the booming fitness trend of the 80s happened that Reebok became a household name. Women all over the world flocked to pick up the Reebok Freestyle. When THE PUMP hit the markets in 1989, Reebok become one of the top shoe sellers.

In 2006, Reebok became part of the adidas Group, bringing together two of the world’s most respected and best-known companies in the sporting goods industry. In 2011, Reebok made the move and partnered with CrossFit, a core strength and conditioning program. Two years later, Yoga, Dance and Aerobics followed suit and Reebok has become the new fitness brand, with the goal to empower consumers to be fit for life. The brands gear ranges from apparel, swimwear, sports equipment, and much more.

Reebok continues to be daring and transformed itself from traditional sports to fitness. The Reebok Delta represents: change and transformation, changes that occur to an individual when training in the gym whether that be physical, mental or social, and challenging people to be better in their lives and in the world.
