This is my favorite item of winter swim gear. I wear it as a top, with regular bikini bottoms, and it's wonderful and practical. The size is tight. But it forms to your body over time.

Zero stars, used their sizing chart and it was entirely too small. The inside neoprene has no cloth backing which would make it impossible to get on and off even in the correct size. Manufacturer said to "use a little Body Glide" but you would have to coat your entire torso to be able to put it on. Very disappointed, returned it.

The vest fits VERY tightly dry, but like all neoprene-wear it loosens up a bit when it gets wet. The interior surface is the smooth neoprene and that makes it challenging to get on. It seems that the nylon is on the exterior to make it easier to use as a base layer under a wetsuit.
There is a lot of water flowing through the vest while swimming when worn alone. The water in-rushes at the arm openings. This defeats the purpose of wearing it to keep warm. However, this vest would work great as a base layer under a top wetsuit with short or long sleeves. In that case, the vest would get 5 stars.
