I have tried many types of hand paddles for use in my workout. I rank the Zone 3 Ergo Hand Paddles at the top. They are just the right size for my hands (Large size in mittens). The plastic straps are superior to all others I have used because they are the right width and construction - and allow me to place my fingers in the right spot quickly, but remain tight. The paddles themselves are nicely constructed both for size and their curve in the water. I never have to stop and adjust the paddles - and even if I "catch a crab" once a workout, they stay on very tightly while I adjust.

A bit of adjustment getting used to them. Definitely more of a challenge for me. I like them though.

They work great. This is my 3rd pair. Hopefully I can keep from breaking the strap. I medium size hands, but the strap keeps breaking even after I loosen it up as far as possible. Too bad Zone 3 doesn’t make (or offer) replacement straps.
