Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Good product. High neckline keeps the sun at bay on my neck. Lifespan of this particular product is short--not particularly chlorine resistant, I get a size smaller than I would otherwise and that helps extend the functional life.

The fit is snug but good for a slim body type. Someone said runs small and I agree. Go up 1 or 2 sizes. IMO these types of shirts will tend to stretch out overtime so we're ok with it being just right in size. I'm not sure whether or not stretching will happen with this brand yet. We just got it and its the end of the summer swim season...
