Sporti Swim School Approved Teaching Mirror

I ordered three more so that everyone can practice blowing bubbles at the same time. This has been a game changer for learning bubbles faster because they can see the bubbles coming out of their own mouths! I am sad I have not had this Bubble Mirror for the past 40 years of teaching. Best Teaching Toy Every (ok, it's a tool, but it's also a toy) "Who is that in the mirror blowing bubbles?" Yes! It's you!

This is a great tool to help kids learn to blow bubbles, put face in the water, and back float distraction! It’s wonderful!

We purchased this for my son who has dyspraxia and other neurological disorders as he struggles with connecting his own movement to what is demonstrated. He uses this in the pool so that he can adjust his oral posture accordingly.

I was a little disappointed with the mirror, it's surface is not totally flat, which means that reflections are distorted. Also, I was hopeful that it would not float, the description does not specify, but it definitely does float. I had hoped I could put it on the bottom of the pool so swimmers could see themselves as they swim over it.

As far as I can tell, it's more a toy/distraction than an effective teaching tool.

I use a small acrylic mirror with my preschool swim students to motivate them to look under the water or float on their backs. I wanted to replace it with this one and like that it has handles and floats. But the mirror is very distorted. I much prefer the other mirror and will probably be returning this one. (The other products I bought at the same time - float pad and diving rings - were great, however.)
