Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I've recently lost a lot of weight (100 pounds or so) and I have a lot of loose skin, especially on my belly & breasts. I tries half a dozen suits and none of them contained my breast flab , on the sides & top. This suit not only fits well, which I would have settled for, but it's also flattering. I could wear a 16W, but that isn't an option, and the 18W works well.
