Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I got this suit for both of my daughters. (13, 10) The pattern is ADORABLE, but the suit straps are way too stretchy. My 13 year old wore it to practice twice, and it kept sliding down to the point where she was uncomfortable with how much skin was showing on her chest. My daughters decided to keep it as a beach/swimming at home suit. It's not a great suit for competitive swimming practices, so it's better as a casual suit.

I got this suit for each of my daughters. (13, 10) They are both tall, and usually the Sporti swimsuits fit them well. This suit, however, is way too big as far as the straps. My 13 year old wore it to practice twice, but it kept sliding down to the point where she was uncomfortable with how much of her chest was showing. The butt coverage is not great either. My daughters decided to keep the suits for beach/swimming at home. Overall, the pattern is ADORABLE. It's more of a casual suit though, instead of a competitive swimming practice suit.
