Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I ordered 2 sizes for my granddaughter for her summer job as a swim instructor / lifeguard . Size 42 & 44, one red , one navy. When she tried them on the 42 was bigger than the 44, we were baffled . After awhile we realized that they were made by two different manufacturers . She is wearing the navy one and loves it.
