Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

It's easy to get a comfortable fit by adjusting the velcro on the back while I'm wearing the visor. There's a lot of adjustability. The cap is lightweight and perfect for cutting the glare without heating me up like a baseball cap would.
