Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Very pretty swim suit. Sizing is off. I used the measurements for my child, measured at a 26 but it was very tiny (would fit a 6 year old). I ended up ordering a 32 which has a little room to grow so she can wear for 2 years.
