Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I unfortunately ordered a Medium and I need a small, but that was my error.
I like this top because it has a high neck and because it is easy to hook and unhook. I don't like tops that tie in the back and this is a great alternative.
