This suit made a huge difference over her practice suit in swim meets. She went from being a few hundredths off her JO cut, to blasting into far westerns the first day she wore it. This suit is very snug. I'm not sure how some other girls were able to fit in my smaller sizes, but my daughter is 4' 8" and 84 lbs and ended up wearing a size 26. I think she could fit in the size 24, but she's a bit picky about taking the time and effort to squeeze into a smaller suit.

This suit is a perfect tech suit option for 12u. Some people have reported “air bubbles” upon diving in, but this is an easy fix. My daughter makes sure the suit is already wet before the dive (either splash before race, hop in pool shower, or dip in warm-up lane.) It holds up well and my daughter always swims fast in this suit. For sizing ref: we ordered a 20. It’s a flawless fit for my daughter. Typical practice suit size is 24 or 26.

Bought this suit for prelim/finals meet. Chafed badly at the crotch and at shoulder. Had to buy a new suit mid-meet (LZR) which was much better. Bummer speedo doesn’t have a better shortie offering for competitive female swimmers.
