My daughter is 12, 5’7, 115 lbs, very strong and slim and wears a 28 in tyr practice swimsuits, we did not size down in this because the torso would’ve been too short. Her torso is 57 inches and we got the 28 and it fits great! It is tighter than her practice suits still as it should be. Glad we did not size down in her case.

This is my teenage daughter's go to competition suit for meets where she isn't going to be wearing her high end tech suit. Been ordering it for a few years. She likes the fit/cut (not too skimpy or high cut on the butt/not low cut in the chest like some other brands). We do size down from her practice suit size since this is for racing. She is 5'9 about 125lbs and she wear this suit in a size 30. Highly recommend.
