The jacket seems to fit as expected. I purchased it for summer white water rafting. As such, I do not know how well it functionally works, but the size if very good and the style is also very nice.

This does the job. We do year round swim lessons and all my kids wear 2mm tops in the pool during winter and at the lake to block the sun during summer. Shape on the O’Neill is nice and there is extra room in the shoulders so it doesn’t inhibit full swim stroke movements. But it is almost bulky on my lean kiddo. We have purchased the xcel top in the past but they were out of stock when my daughter needed to size up. She prefers the xcel. But we will order this again if we can’t get xcel. We have only had it a few months so I can’t comment on durability. We just hang dry in the bathroom after swim and wash occasionally.
