      These are worse than the picture

      I honestly didn't think these shorts could possibly be as unflattering as they looked in the pictures, but somehow they exceeded my expectations—in the worst way.

      A kayaking friend absolutely swears by the men's version and won't paddle without them, so I figured I'd give these a try. Unfortunately, they are incredibly uncomfortable. The fit is tight in all the wrong places, the material bunches awkwardly, and they significantly restrict movement—hardly what you want in a pair of shorts designed for paddling.

      I also found them to run small. I ordered a size up based on the sizing chart, and while I could get them on, the fit was far from comfortable.

      The low price is tempting, but I would strongly recommend continuing your search. There are much better options out there.

      Liner was too loose to do much good. It would not have kept water out.
