FINIS Men's Solid Jammer Swimsuit

My son has told me a second time this week that he loves this suit! We got one for summer swim and needed to get one for short course swim in a different color. We got it last week and he’s practiced in it and already swam four events in it. He’s all about comfort! Just as a sizing reference, I do think that finis runs a little small (even in girls sizes too). I think speedo runs smaller too, but TYR is bigger. My son wears 32 in finis/speedo, but usually 30 in TYR.

I've used Finis gear for years, but wasn't sure what to expect with their suits. Overall, though, I'm pretty pleased. Not sure what other posters have meant by them being "small", though, as mine fit perfectly---and using the same size that I use for Tyr and Arena jammers. The big difference with the Finis jammer is that it is VERY lightweight---of an even lighter weight than the material in my Nike HydraStrong jammers. So, if you're used to Tyr and Speedo jammers, you'll find these have a very different feel. I like it, but others may not---particularly if they're looking for a certain amount of compression. These are appropriately form-fitting, and are very clingy when wet...but still very smooth in the water. Normally I prefer jammers with a front gusset rather than the center seam that these have...but nonetheless find these very comfortable. In fact, I've ordered a couple more. The question now is how long they will hold up, given the light weight of the material. We'll have to wait and see...
