The quality of the suit is amazing and the cut is flattering. If you're more lean or a competitive swimmer, you'll probably like this. The back tie is cute. I'm not even going to take off a star for the following comments because this was probably all my fault. I wanted a suit to swim in that would stand up to the chlorine better than what I've been using. These suits aren't really meant for people like me, if you know what I mean?
I'm 5'2 & 150 lbs & am swimming laps for fitness, not competition. I definitely have curves. Per the instructions, I measured all the places and thought I had picked the correct size but I got 2 different sizes just in case. Both suits ended up a bit small but I could probably wear either IF I didn't have breasts. I don't even have large breasts. Average maybe? Anyway, this isn't the suit for you if you have much up top because the suit is flat and the top cuts in for the straps so anything that isn't flat or muscle is going to try to find a place to go. I'll spare you the photos...

Size 30 is true to size for 12 yr old who is 110 lb and 4 foot 11 inch teen. As long as you double knot it, no need to re-tie the knot during swim practice. The tie straps have some elastic in it which is helpful when swimming butterfly.
