I run distance using this shirt in the Florida Keys heat and sun and it does keep me cooler and protected from the sun. However I started with a women's Medium (my normal size in anything else- I'm 5'3" and weigh 145- I lift heavy, run, & wear a size 8 typically) and I had to return it. It was so tight that it was uncomfortable & not to mention really unflattering. (think- busted can of biscuits) I ordered a women's XL and it's honestly not a ton better but it'll do. I know it should fit like a second skin, but I think I'm going to try the Mens shirts next. Also- it cost $5 to return the size that didn't fit and shipping took about a week and a half, however they're less expensive here than on Amazon.
