This works the way it should, but be forewarned that it is significantly shorter than the old Competitor wrenches, and the reduced leverage makes it hard for our smaller staff members to get the lane lines tight enough. I do like the thumb catch that easily reverses the direction of the ratchet mechanism, and while we have only been using it a couple of weeks, the old ones always lasted for years so I expect the same with this one!
