The fit may be a bit tight; size up if in doubt. The fabric-covered neoprene material feels a bit thin for 3 mm. The sole is very slightly thicker. I normally wear L or XL swim fins (DaFin or another brand with very similar sizing) and the flipper slippers need XXL. That may vary by individuals, foot shape, and comfort with tight fit (my wide foot needs toe room). I don't plan to do a long walk in these socks (that would be better done with booties design for reefs or surfing) but the patterned bottom looks promising for getting about on concrete; less vulnerable to wear and tear than fabric bottom.Swimfin liners that cover the body of the foot but just have heel straps at the back (or sometimes fin tethers, too) are also available.

These are great. 2nd pair of these I've had. The first pair lasted for years. I'm a women's shoe size 9.5 and I ordered the 8 and they fit fine, though my first pair were 7 and that was probably a better fit. I wear these for open water swimming, either with or without a wetsuit. They are easy to get on and off, unlike some more structured surf booties that are warmer, but difficult to remove.

Very happy to have bought these so I can swim through the winter. They keep my feet warm and don’t fill up with water. I wear water shoes over them to prevent damage from beach rocks. Ordered down 1/2 size and happy I did.

I put these on before putting on my wetsuit so they don’t fill with water and, because I swim where I frequently put my feet down on rocks, I wear cheap water shoes (thanks, Walgreens!) over them to protect the bottoms. Perfect solution for short winter swims. Not sure if they’d fill up during longer swims. I sized down to a 6 (shoe size is W 9) and they fit perfectly and are easy to get on and off. Wish they were a little higher so they’d tuck under the wetsuit a little more but otherwise they’re great.
