So I'm 5 5" with a 42" hip, 31" waist, 38" chest and this suit fits pretty perfectly! I got a 30 for this suit. For my regular competition suit I wear a TYR 30 or a sporti 34 and rec/practice is a TYR 36. I have larger thighs and it was a little too tight just above my knee. I have not worn this suit in the water yet, but I love it already. It took me personally only about 1 minute 30 seconds to put it on, this could be different for you. Great suit for the price! Hopefully this is helpful to other girls with sizing close to mine.

My 11 year old daughter wears a 24 regular women’s racing suit & a 24 women’s fits her perfectly… she is a fit normal 11 year old & had a really hard time getting a 24 on, she is pretty tall for her age , but thin. The youth sizes are way too small for her..even the 12 year old youth.

My daughter is in High School and is a breaststroke queen! This suit was perfect for her HS league and state swim competitions - she does both the IM and breast events. It gives great compression in the tummy area but leaves hips flexible for breaststroke and meets the eligibility requirements. Probably not ideal for other strokes, but breaststroke needs hip flexibility.

My 9 year old got this just in time for her championship meet. It went on relatively easy. She has Sporti and other Arena suits that are 26s and I ordered her the 22 based off of the measurements on the size chart. It fit perfectly.
