  • 1/29/2010 optics distort under water

1 Review Stars By Arthur L.

gaskets form a good seal with out that sucking your eyes  out feel, but the optics distort under water pretty badly, making them unusably for me.

  • 9/3/2013 Best goggles for me.

5 Review Stars By Emily H.

These are soft, comfortable and easy to get on and off.  They fit my small frame eyes with no leaking.  Being clear, it is easy to see while in the indoor pool or in the outdoor pool for lap swim at 6:00 am when it is still dark.  They are even inexpensive.

  • 5/16/2017 Love these

    5 Review Stars By Su

These goggles are the most comfortable I have ever used. They feel snug around your eye socket.  I have the tinted version of these and rely on them as well.   They provide enough visibility while swimming.

  • 4/28/2017 Great for cycling to keep pollen out of eyes

    5 Review Stars By SamT

It fits and seals very nicely.  I am allergic to weeds and grasses pollen in the spring, which particularly tends to make my eyes swell shut.  At the moment, my  only mode of transportation is on an electric tricycle (I had some blank outs and the Dr. said I could not drive a car).  Range is about 8 miles round trip.  With the goggles, I can get to the grocery store and back without an issue.  Also wear a respirator and a crash helmet.  I am sure I am a sight to see but so far I haven't been arrested.

    light weight, no fogging issues

  • 4/12/2017 comfortable

    5 Review Stars By Linda

These are the best goggles I have ever tried.  My first pair lasted a long time, and now I have purchased two more.  They are comfortable and do not dig into the sensitive skin around my eye.  The clear lens is perfect for swimming in the indoor pool.

  • 11/6/2016 Soft and comfortable fit; not very clear

    5 Review Stars By constantine

These goggles are soft and comfortable for long practices. After an hour of swimming laps they don't leave circles around my eyes like some other goggles. They are not exceptionally clear and distort the vision a little bit. I'd say they are ok for practices, however.  The silicone pads have turned somewhat yellowish and unsightly after just a few weeks of usage (I swim 4-5 times a week.) Oveall, however, these goggles are a good choice if you are looking for a reliable comfortable fit for long swims.

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
