Wyatt Hersey is a visual storyteller with a practice based in
illustration, painting, design and muralism. Wyatt uses bright,
simplified color palettes and a printmaker’s graphic sensibility
to create work that is immediately striking and impactful. His
work explores narratives of relational ecology, deep ecology,
and ecological consciousness while instilling a sense of
playfulness, hope, mutualism, and vitality in the viewer. His
background as a wildlife biologist and nature connection mentor
greatly informs his work as a visual artist, and as does his
belief in art as an essential expression of the goodness of
humanity.

Protecting the health of our waters ensures that future
generations can joyfully swim, play, and train amidst their
beauty. A portion of the proceeds from the Sporti x Wyatt Hersey
collection will be donated to the Coral Reef Alliance, a global
nonprofit dedicated to reducing direct threats to reefs and
promoting scalable and effective solutions for their protection.
“The designs I created for this collection are meant to convey
a sense of playfulness and authenticity. Swimming is
ultimately an act of embodiment and joy and I wanted the
linework and colors to feel vibrant and lively in the hope
that the designs would convey that energy. It’s so important
for ALL of us to find activities that connect us to our
beautiful living bodies and give us a sense of joy and freedom
