Find the Perfect Men’s Swimsuits & Swimwear
Men's swimwear on this page covers every cut used in competitive swimming, recreational swimming, and beach and surf wear. With 800+ styles from training briefs and jammers to board shorts and swim trunks, this is the full range of men's bathing suits across athletic and fashion cuts.
Competition Jammers, Briefs, and Square Legs
Jammers are knee-length compression suits used for swim team practice and meets. Briefs sit higher on the leg for maximum range of motion. Square legs fall mid-thigh and split the difference in coverage. All three cuts run in chlorine-resistant polyester for daily training durability. For race-day compression, see men's tech suits and men's swim jammers.
Swim Trunks and Board Shorts
Swim trunks are shorter with a quick-dry mesh liner, built for pool days and casual beach use. Board shorts run longer with a looser fit for surf, paddling, and all-day beach wear. Both cuts are sold in standard waist sizing separate from athletic competition sizing. See men's swim trunks and men's board shorts for the full range.
Recreational, Euro, and Specialty Cuts
Recreational one-pieces and square legs cover lap swimming without the compression of a competition suit. Euro swimwear runs in brief and square-leg cuts with a closer European fit. Drag suits add resistance to training sets. See men's recreational swimwear and men's euro swimwear.
Sizing and Fabric Guide
Competition cuts use numeric sizing (22 through 44, corresponding to waist in inches minus roughly 10). Recreational and fashion cuts use standard S through 3XL or waist in inches. Chlorine-resistant polyester suits last one to two seasons of daily pool use. Standard nylon-spandex suits are better suited to casual or occasional swimming at SwimOutlet.
