Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

My daughter is in competitive swim. She is 10 years old. She put this cap on for the second time and it ripped along the seam. She is unable to use for her meet and we had to purchase a new cap. I would not suggest this item.
