09/25/2020 I ordered and received a size Medium. It is skin tight. I am tempted to exchange for a Large. And I am intending to use it in a chlorinated pool. Have a made a poor purchase? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Being comfortable for the suit will depend per swimmer. You can change to size large if you want it loose. While for using it in the pool, it should be okay since it is made of nylon/spandex.

09/11/2020 Is there a thermal top for a chlorinated pool that provides maximum coverage to upper body, arms and hands? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

This thermal top here can be used in a pool.

05/06/2020 Is this warmer the tighter it is? Also, does it get looser when wet? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

The thermal rash guard is made to fit snug and will not lose its shape in the water.  It should not stretch out when wet.  The material it is made of helps retain warmth as long as it is the right fit. It is not made to fit loosely.

10/30/2019 I understand it is different from neoprene or rubber wetsuits. How does it compare, what thinkness in mm would be similar? According to the size chart I would be need XS, but normally have S and someone else being lighter was advised an M. I'm 169 cm / 5.6" and around 58kg. Appreciate your advise! Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Based on your height and weight, you are in XS but you can go for a Small if you need extra room. However, we also advise that you consider your bust and waist measurements as well. Please refer to the sizing guide here. As for the thickness, we advise contacting the manufacturer directly as it is not revealed.

10/03/2019 Is there a better product to keep warm in a cold chlorinated swimming pool Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

You may have suits made of Neoprene. Neoprene is made of small closed cells that are filled with air which provide insulation against cold water by trapping heat in. The thicker the suit's neoprene, the warmer the suit will be because it has more heat-trapping insulation.

04/10/2019 I am looking for a base layer under my wetsuit for very cold triathlon swims (very cold to me, below 60). I would like to find an alternative to a $700 thermal wetsuit and wondering if this is good for extra warmth under a wetsuit. Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Yes, we recommend this item as a warmer underneath your wetsuit.

11/26/2018 What can I wear to keep warm in a very cold lap pool? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

You may, however please note that this item is not chlorine resistant. If you are swimming in a chlorinated lap pool, this fabric will wear overtime.

10/03/2018 These are not chlorine resistant? Does that mean you will still get cold while wearing it in a swimming pool? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Since this suit is not chlorine resistant, the wear and tear of the product may be increased as it is continually exposed to chlorine. In order to prolong the life of this item, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water after each use in the pool.

09/06/2018 Is it not for wearing in chlorine? I need one for the pool Edit

It is not chlorine resistant. We recommend this instead - https://www.swimoutlet.com/p/eq-swimwear-polyester-long-sleeve-rashguard-8129353/?color=47160

09/03/2018 I am 5'6" 27" waist. 36" hips 122 lbs. Size? Medium? I hear it runs small. I want to wear it over my swim suit to help keep my upper body warm. Will this help? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

A medium will be great for you! For further confirmation, you can confirm your measurements with the sizing chart here. This is specifically designed to keep you insulated, and is meant to have a tight fit.

06/10/2018 I bought this shirt a year ago and it came in size numbers. I got a 10, would that be a medium? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Yes, size 10 is equivalent to medium. Here's the sizing chart of the item: https://www.swimoutlet.com/size-charts/o-neill/o-39-neill-women-39-s-swimwear-amp-apparel-sizechart_s1318/

04/11/2018 What is the thickness of this thermal? I'm looking for something to wear when snorkeling the GBR in Australia this May, and from what I can tell, a 2mm seems like a good bet. I get cold easily. Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

This is not neoprene so it does not have a thickness measurement. It is made of material that will help retain body heat but not in the same way that neoprene wetsuit will.

09/05/2017 Is this thermal rash guard to be warn over my bathing suit? Can it be used in a pool? The water is getting very cold in our outdoor pool, but it is a treat to swim outside. Is it difficult to swim laps in this? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

The thermal rashguards can be worn by themselves, or over a bathing suit. The item will provide warmth in cold water. However, it will not hold up with in chlorine. It may restrict the movement but only a little as these rash guards are not thick like wetsuits.
