These weights are considered medium resistance at about 7 lbs. If you need something lighter, I suggest either AquaJogger ActiveBells Light Resistance Water Weights or TYR Aquatic Resistance Dumbbells Water Weights.

These dumbbells are considered Medium Resistance. A Medium Resistance dumbbell has a submerged force of about 7 lbs (60% resistance).
