I am so glad this suit worked out. The hip is very high cut, so I did a few dry land workouts in it, over sweat pants, to see if it would stay in place. When dry, the crotch area uncomfortably rides up, but in the water, everything stays in place, and the buoyancy and support is excellent. I think the TYR size chart has recently changed; at first I ordered 1 size down from my practice suit size, per the chart, but that size for this suit was way too small, so returned it. I then ordered the same size as my practice suit size, per the new size chart, and it fits.

Lower half of suit cut inappropriately narrow

My girls have been swimming competitivley for over ten years and usually wear a TYR competitive suit at meets. This new suit has a terribly narrow cut to the crotch area, it did not come close to properly covering a teenaged girl.

My girls have been swimming competitively for over 10 years and usually wear the TYR competitive suits to meets. This particular style of TYR competition suit has a different cut than the TYR suits we've purchased in the past. It is extremely narrow and lacking in fabric to properly cover an area that absolutely must be fully covered. My last review was taken down and I can only assume my wording was not delicate enough to explain the problem with this suit.

I'm a size 2/4, but typically size up to a medium in swimsuits to account for hips and bust. The size 34/Med in this suit is SO small that I cannot even get it over my hips.
