Bought these tights for sun & rash protection when surfing. Im 5’3” (& 110-115lbs) and capris normally sit just at my ankles … so I knew this would be the right fit for me. And honestly if it were true capris that would have been fine for me too. My surf leash sits at my ankles anyway… and it’s nice not to get sand stuck under. The mesh design by the ankles are cute—don’t bother me like other reviews. Wore the tights to surf twice so far and love it! It fits nice and snug. I have learned to order swim clothing on the tight/smaller side; when wearing in the water cause it will stretch! Glad I got the XS! …I think TYR should consider a different fabric for colder waters… “wetsuit” tights! Id be sold on that too.
