I live in Costa Rica at the beach and surf every day but I bought this more for pool parties. It really emphasizes curves well - especially if you already have some to show. I get a lot of compliments (not common for me!) and I think it''s because the belted waist and generous bottom coverage gives a really nice round 60''s style shape to my backside. The peek-a-boo top doesn''t hurt either. I''m just shy of 5''6'''', 150lbs with a super long torso so it is a little bit snug length-wise for me - I bought a size 8.
