Measure around the fullest part of your chest.
*For women, this measurement is NOT the same as your bra band size.
Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I love this tank so much that I have bought gobs of them. I am not a triathlete--just a well-endowed Masters' swimmer (38H) that doesn't fit into traditional lap swimming suits without flashing everyone. I wear these over the EQ swimsuits, and they don't drag as much as a rash guard or a tankini with pads. The ones I have are ratty, but I haven't found anything that compares at this price point. I stocked up on the larges when they went to final few, and keep coming back to check in case a new shipload has come in.

This is the second one I've bought. I love it! I am not a triathlete. I wear it to exercise. The back pockets are handy. The high neck is great!

The product was of good quality , though the larger size was not ideal for a smaller chest, and longer torso. It is baggy near the armpit and it rode up during the bike and run parts of my triathlon. It may be better suited for a larger chest size, smaller hips and shorter torso.
