Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I loved the suit look. But the fit did not fit me well at all. I am getting back into swimming so I'm not in shape. If I was in shape I'm sure it would have been better. The back has very thin straps which did not look good on me.

I usually take a size 26 for a tight fit for racing and/or to account for later stretch as a practice suit. I ordered a 28 initially, because I knew the butt coverage was less on this suit and I wanted to somewhat offset that. The 28 as a whole was too small, especially in the butt. I returned it (hassle free, thanks) and ordered the 30. The 30 is too loose in the rest of the suit to stand up to my competition/training level. I would recommend you only order this if you are super confident or don't give AF about your glutes hanging out, because sizing up is too unpredictable.

I loved the pattern on this suit! The cut wasn't exactly for me, but it wasn't terrible. The biggest disappointment was that it faded super quickly (I had another Sporti suit that I bought at the same time and wore the same amount for comparison). It now is unevenly faded and is stretched out to the point of not having any support.
