Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

These are wonderful. These ramp up my water fitness workout. I use them in every Aqua Fitness Class I teach to offer participants a "stepped up" workout. They are always amazed at how much the extra "drag" really works their chest, back, arms, etc so they get muscle toning in the water with equipment that can travel in your suitcase. I have used other more expensive brands in the past and tried this brand on a whim. They are half the price as their competitors but hold up just as well...I've had several pairs for years. If you want to ramp up your workout...this piece of equipment is essential. Note these do run a tad large so the smalls and mediums work great for women. The mediums work great for most men except for those with very large hands. My husband is a large 6ft inch man and he does need the large.
